Been using openHAB for a few years, mostly with the Insteon binding and have expanded into some zwave devices now as well.
Anyway, I’m looking at buying a new sliding glass door for my home and found that the Manufacturer Pella has some with between the glass blinds that are remote controllable and that they sell a bridge to connect this to Z-Wave.

Wondering if anyone has successfully made this work with openHAB?
If it’s zwave, I see no reason why it wouldn’t work. It may need to be added to the device database but the turn around on that is usually not more than a few days.
The nice thing about zwave is they have to go through some compatibility tests in order to use the zwave logo. So it it bears the logo you have good assurances that it will work.
But this is just speculation on my part. I don’t have the device so can’t say definitively. But I personally would take the risk to buy the bridge. If there is something odd about it, Chris is really responsive and I’m sure he would get it fix in no time.
