Phantom actions in Somfy Tahoma binding things

HI all

I have been experiencing for weeks some let’s say “phantom” actions in Tahoma binding things. They are some curtains and blinds that repently move down with no specific rules in OH UI, at random times, sometimes in the morning other in the afternoons. THey are Somfy IO and RTS.

In spite there are no rules making this actions, these are the logs generated from these “phantom” actions:

anything that is exposed to the internet so that every that finds the exposed UI can play games with it ?

I don`t know how my OH UI could be exposed, but any recommendations to improve the security are welcome.

Did you open a port on your router so that you can access the UI from the internet ?

Certainly I had two ports that I created for openhab (don’t remember why) but were not open. I have just deleted them.

I normally use android app to go into UI either through internet or my local network, but I guess that it should not be a problem.

That depends - if you use myopenhab.org that’s fine. If you opened a port to access your openhab installation via internet that could be the problem.

I have always used myopenhab.org as remote server for the android app, since is what I learnt about how to use it remotely from the beggining, and I am a compliant boy :smile: :wink:

I think that I openend a port in the router to try to solve a problem with smarthomej/Tuya binding, keeping a reccomendation of one OH post. I was trying to control a Tuya dimmable RGWB lighbulb creating a thing in OH by means of this binding but finally it was not possible, and the port remained there in the route. I tried also using amazon alexa binding, with no success. Now I am fighting with MQTT, but I am affraid that there are still many things I don’t understand properly. :grimacing: :crazy_face:

The port is definitelly closed, so let’s see what happen from now on. :upside_down_face:
