I’m starting with photovoltaic on my roof.
Which hardware-components are recommendable with regard to reliable openhab-connectivity?

Are there already best-practice rules for optimisation of self-consumption?

Next to openHAB2 I have installed “Solarview@Fritzbox” on my Raspi3. Check it out here:

For sure you need to know if your inverter is supported. If yes you could read out the data you need with Exec-Binding and define rules to switch on electrical devices if there is enough power :slight_smile: It works like a charm for me:

  • Boiler
  • Air dehumidifier (summer)
  • Air humidifier (winter)
  • IRobot (Accu)
