Print Server under openhabian.. Possible?

Hi,
I’ve a really old laserjet printer connected with the usb-port of my desktop Computer. Quite uncomfortable to sent print Jobs from mobile devices.

So I think to setup a print server.my question is if it is possible to use my raspberry openhabian device for this? I see there is a binding called CUPS… But I’m not sure if this the solution to my quest.

Can anyone set me on the right path (if there is such thing).

Well openhabian is just Raspbian plus X, so you can essentially install any other Raspbian OS package or software on top.
You’ll want to install the CUPS OS package(s) but not the CUPS binding (which is just to access printer queues from within OH). But please go g**gle how to install and setup CUPS as that’s unrelated to openHAB and this forum.
