Problem with Java8 during OpenHAB installation

Hi all,

during the OpenHAB installation always following error occured:
openhab2 /var/packages/Java8/target/j2sdk-image/bin/java Downloading source failed

I don´t now what to do :frowning:

OH version 2.2? If that is correct and you are just now installing you should install OH 2.4. That version is now more than a year and a half old. A whole lot has been fixed and changed since then.

What Java did you install and how did you install it?

What are you doing to install openHAB. According to the docs (openHAB on macOS | openHAB) MacOS uses a manual install, meaning download the zip file and unzip it.
