This is a repeat of my original problem with OH 4.3.2 ( Problem with stability of Insteon on OH 4.3.2 )
This issue was solved by using the updated Insteon binding from @jeshab. I upgrade my whole system to OH 5.0.0 and Insteon has become unstable again. My understanding is the updated binding would be included with OH 5.0.0.
Do I need to continue using the updated Insteon or should it be in the new Binding that is included with OH 5?

Can you confirm if you are experiencing the same issue mentioned in this issue tracker?
Ever since I put the old jars (org.openhab.binding.insteon-5.0.0-SNAPSHOT) in the addons directory I have had no more issues. I’ll monitor and let you know if I have any issues, As stated before I assume these are the same code as the 5.0.0 release so this is strange…
These changes were added to 5.0 but additional ones were added later on. This is why I was asking if what you are experiencing is similar to the issue tracker I linked above.
Yes, that appears to be what is happening. After some time the devices show as offline, COMMUNICATIONS_ERROR and Device Not responding. I’ll monitor the main thread and if there is anything I can do to help let me know.
