Problems with lgwebos binding after updating to openHAB 2.3

After updating to the new release the binding does not work for me anymore. The existing thing is marked as “Uninitialized” , the log says “2018-05-31 23:30:30.288 [hingStatusInfoChangedEvent] - ‘lgwebos:WebOSTV:d835f150-87bd-4d4a-b34f-8037c87f88ac’ changed from UNINITIALIZED to UNINITIALIZED (HANDLER_CONFIGURATION_PENDING)” and a new thing is not discovered.

Anybody having the same problems?

Update: Meanwhile I got things working again by adding a .things file:

Thing lgwebos:WebOSTV:tv0 [ deviceId=“aaaaaaaa-bbbb-cccc-dddd-eeeeeeeeeeee” ]

Looks like the binding wants to see such a file although this is not really needed as it worked without before.

Removing LG webOS from paperUI and then adding it again, solves the issue…
