I have a couple of Z-Wave door sensors (Ecolink DWZWAVE2) that have the tamper alarm triggered. Does anyone know of a way to reset it?
Ive tried just sending the OFF command to the alarm_general item, but that just get set back to ON next time its updated.
I’d like to know the answer to this question too. I haven’t been able to figure out how to reset the tamper alarm.
mhh I never used the tamper alarms for something vital
but also for me they stay in ALARM forever once triggered. (all kind of devices that have a tamper alarm)
you could manually or bya rule return the item to “OK” state … for a manual workaround
not sure if this could / should be handled by the binding somehow ? @chris
