That was a problem. I have updated the old link, please re-download and reinstall. If you would test changing the fan mode on the thermostat and ensure that the fan mode in the binding changes after it pulls new information test number 2.

The link in #59 leads to a 404 not found. 
I downloaded https://github.com/protectivedad/openhab-addons/releases/download/beta-1.7f/org.openhab.binding.honeywell-4.2.3-SNAPSHOT.jar which as far as I can tell is the same URL except the one above is v1.7f and the link on GitHub is 1.7f without the v.
Hope I got the right one.
Same procedures as above with the only difference being after starting OH again I removed the old fan Item and created and linked a new one (I realized that restoreOnStartup would probably hide it if it didn’t work).
The Item did get the current state On upon linking and everything else still works as described.

You got the right one. When I hit 50 my eyes started to go, I was wondering why it showed up twice, Now I realize it was because one of them was missing the ‘v’. It seems to work as expected. I will move it over and bump the version. Thanks.
Lucky you, mine hit at 43. 20/20 vision until then, now I can’t even read the alarm clock without my glasses.
Is this binding supposed to still work? It worked for a long time but since a couple of months it stopped. I’m on OH 5.2.0 now. I removed / added the binding several times. I created a new app in the Resideo dev site multiple times. I removed the oauth settings in StorageHandler.For.OAuthClientService.json . But I can’t seem to get this binding back online? Anyone any other ideas?
The binding was never upgraded past OH 4.3 on the marketplace so it’s not surprising it doesn’t work in OH 5. Thos this sounds like Residio made achange to the API itself.
The short answer is, no. I think the API domain has changed and they turned off the old name. I will look at it and see about updating. I am using 4.3 and do not know if it will work on the 5 version. If I have free time I will update it also.

Looks like that was the problem. I need to relearn how to post my change etc. Should be updated under 4.3 in the next day or two.
I’ve updated the domain from the previous honeywell.com to honeywellhome.com. It works for me but I didn’t redo my authentication hopefully those haven’t changed. Let me know if you get it working.
Where you can you change the domain?
I updated it in the latest build. It works for sure under v4.3, if it was working at one time under v5.2 the newest build should work now.
