OH 4.3.2 on R-Pi4.
I stupidly hit the “X” next to some of the line items in the logging settings window. I thought I would be able to re-enable them but it seems that they are now entirely gone.
Is there a way to reset the log viewer settings to default?
I suspect the X deletes the logger from the configuration entirely.
Did it ask “are you sure” or something like that? If not it might be worth filing an issue on openhab-webui to add such a warning.
Depending on how you installed OH you can restore the default logging config. The logging is configured through $OH_USERDATA/etc/log4j2.xml. The default config can be downloaded from openhab-distro/distributions/openhab/src/main/resources/userdata/etc/log4j2.xml at main · openhab/openhab-distro · GitHub. That will restore the logging config to the default settings.
Yeah there was no warning/explanation/confirmation message. I was able to add them back into the entry window at the top by looking at another system to see what was missing. I created a request for a pop-up dialog box.
