RPI with Separate Networks and Xiaomi

Hey everyone.
I am trying something a little different. I dug out my old router (192.168.0.x) and hooked it’s wan port to my current routers (10.1.1.x) lan port. I then connected the RPI wireless to 192.168.0.x but left the lan at 10.1.1.x.

My mqtt stuff seems to be working fine, but I can’t seem to get OpenHab to communicate with my Xiaomi gateway. I’ve set the gate to the correct address in PaperUI, but no luck. I’m thinking OpenHab is trying 10.1.1.x interface. The gateway is on the 192.168.0.x network and seems to be working fine. Has anyone done this successfully and if so, how did you do it?

Remember, the Xiaomi requires port 9898 to be open to the internet… Thats probably the issue you´re facing.

I actually got it working by set my priority to wlan0 in /etc/dhcpcd.conf (maybe not necessary) and rebooting! (most likely necessary)

Works Great! No internet required!
