I have been struggling to find a cheap but yet stable server solution for a while now. I had almost decided to go with the RPI3 and the new ability to run it all from an SSD drive connected via USB. Then I stumbled up on this 64bit serial discussion ?
I will be using Aeon LABS gen 5 z-wave stick and the USB to 1-wire adapter DS9490R. Probably using both OH2 and Domoticz along with some other software too.
Is there still a problem running USB to serial on RPI3 and OH2 ?
@kai found that using the 32bit JVM worked around this (for now). Hopefully the library will catch up, but I don’t think there is any reason to not use a Pi3 at this point.
