rrd4j chart set high and low to display

Hi,

I have been searching everywhere, but can’t find out if there is a way to set the highest and lowest value you want displayed on a chart. For example, I want to have a chart displaying a temperature, but on days where the temperature stays mostly the same, I would rather if the chart didn’t auto range so even small temperature changes look really big.

Basically, I would like the chart to always have 0 degrees at the bottom and 40 degrees at the top, regardless of the data it has to work with.

Any ideas?

Unfortunately the current chart providers don’t provide this functionality…

I’d I remember correctly you have to calculate your min and max in different items. Then put all in a group and persist that group in rrd4j.
I did that with temp min, max & actual in one of the older Oh versions.
