openHAB 4.2.0 Release Build running on PI3B
I had a SD card go bad so I installed a new openhabian to a new card and then recreated bindings etc (Yes my backup also failed)
I use text files for all my rules, items, etc so I copied them all across to the new card.
Now when I try to access the rules through the :8080 link all I get is a flashing set of grey bars that goes on forever as if its trying to load
Any ideas why this is happening - what more can I tell you?
All the rules work fine by the way I just can’t see them in this console

Same here. Just go to a different menu item, refresh the browser and go back to settings - rules

Thanks Oliver2, that works with other pages which flash briefly but it doesn’t work with the rules page

Did you check the permissions of your .rules files?

Are there any errors in your logs or in the browser console?

Nothing coming up in the logs at Fronttail, or the :8080 console itself.
Interestingly when I reboot the server, I get some messages about openhab2 directories. Now the system was upgraded from OH2.5 to 3 and then later to 4.2 and I dont recall seeing these messages before.
But no errors in normal operation

You probably still have „openhab2“ in one of your paths to your config and userdata directories.
/etc/openhab
/var/lib/openhab
Try renaming those.
Btw, did you also update your jre?
