Anyone ever manage to connect Ryobi Garage Door to their Openhab?
I haven’t looked at their features recently as they don’t sell them here in NZ but I automated my 1980s door opener with and esp8266 with a relay and Reed switch so I can open/close it and also tell if it’s already open. You could do the same?
I’ve just purchased 2 units and expect to have them installed this week. I’m planning to figure something out to control them via OpenHAB, but I’m kind of new to the whole thing and probably not going to make much progress very quickly.
