I’m excited to share that I’ve developed a Salus binding for OpenHAB! This binding connects seamlessly to the Salus cloud, enabling users to control all devices, with a focus on IT-600 thermostats.
While the binding is functional and stable, I’m currently seeking testing and feedback from the community to ensure its reliability across various setups.
You can find the code for the binding and the latest updates on the Pull Request here: Salus Binding PR.
Your input and suggestions are invaluable as we work towards merging this binding into the main OpenHAB addons repository. Your testing and feedback will greatly contribute to its improvement and eventual integration.
Additionally, if you find this project helpful and would like to support its development, consider buying me a coffee on Ko-fi or BuyCoffee. Your support keeps me motivated and helps cover the costs associated with maintaining and improving the binding.
If you are ready for a little wider testing, you should create a post in the Marketplace. Users can directly install your add-on through the Add-on Store when it’s published on the Marketplace. It’s a great way to make testing easier for your users.
As indicated by Rich, is there any plan to post a first version of this binding into the marketplace in the near future so that it can get easily tested?
I saw your PR has been merged now.
Would it be possible to publish it additionally on the addon marketplace as well?
Or is there any other possibility to easily install it also under v4.1.0?
