I use OH2 on a Windows machine.
These are my first steps with OH.
For a first test, I would like to integrate my Samsung TV Series 6.
The system works - e.g. ntp works.
I wrote the following command in the .things file.
samsungtv:tv:wohnzimmer [ hostName=“192.168.1.21”, port=55000, refreshInterval=5 ]
and in the .items file i wrote:
Switch TV_Mute (EG_Wohnzimmer) { channel=“samsungtv:tv:wohnzimmer:mute” }
On the web page I see the switch, the television takes no action.
log: tail shows no error.
A heartfelt thank you.

Have you enabled remote access (I can’t remember the actual term) on the TV. IIRC the first time you try to update the TV over the network a prompt appears on the TV

Yes, make sure the TV works with the Samsung app on your phone. To exclude configuration issues with the TV itself.
I try the same also on a Samsung TV Series 6. Face the problem I can see after I add the binding the Samsung I can activate hin and he is online. After I try to use any command like off, I loose the contact to the TV.
Yes the app on my IPhone run well no problem.
Things like Olf sure other ip
