Send config commands to controller

Hi,

i have a Z-Stick Gen5 working with my openhab. I’m very happy with my setup … buuuuut:
The stick has a red-blue-yellow blinking status led. This led is way to bright.

So did some google research about this. I found the official ‘Z-Wave Configuration Capabilities’ with a parameter to disable the led here.

My question: How do i send/set this parameter via openhab?

My understanding is there is no way to do this over the serial API (that’s what I’ve read) and it needs to be done from a different controller over the air.

so … i need a controller to control the controller?! :joy:

You could try the Zensys tool to see if it works, but that’s what I’ve read on the OZW forum a while back.
