Shelly 2PM rollershutter not working in sitemap

Hi there,

i have a Shelly Plus 2PM as a rollershutter and I can’t get it to work in a sitemap.

I have successfully added it as a thing, the thing is online, and in the OpenHab administration / things / channels I can see the current status and also control the rollershutter (move it up/down).

However when I add it to a sitemap, as Default or as Switch, I see controls (up / stop / down) but they do not work.

Item:

Rollershutter Shutter_Wohnzimmer "Wohnzimmer Rolladen [%.0f %%]"  { channel="shelly:shellyplus2pm-roller:xxxxxxxxxx" }

Sitemap:

	Switch item=Shutter_Wohnzimmer label="Wohnzimmer"

Any ideas, anyone ?

Open the Shelly app, go to settings, go to position control, and press calibrate. Wait, save, and try again.

Hi, unfortunately that did not help.

Hum interesting. Have you tried adding a roller shutter to the sitemap instead of a switch? If that doesn’t work then… I don’t know :frowning:

Hi, yes I tried that as I found that hint in a posting, but that posting was also answered by 'there is no Rollershutter type for sitemaps ’ which seems to be true, using ‘Rollershutter’ instead of ‘Switch’ or ‘Default’ breaks the sitemap.

How about adding two dummy switches to the site map? One is open the other is close, and each sends 0 or 100 to the roller shutter item?
Bothersome but ..
