I installed the new version of the iOS App (3.1) on my iphone with the goal to use the watchOS app. I faced a problem with switches. Everything is displayed correctly (temperatures, switch state, …). However, if I switch on a light on my watch, nothing happens. Light is still off. I used a very simple sitemap with only one switch.
Moreover, when I start for the first time the WatchOS app, the watch displays “No widget available”. No sitemap appears. I have to “kill” the app and start it again to have my sitemap displayed correctly.
On the third screen, this message “Loading… nothing found” is displayed. I do not know what is the purpose of this third screen.
I’m having a similar issue. State updates work well on the watch but commands on the watch have no effect on the actual items, nor on the sitemap.
I’ve reinstalled the app on the iPhone, removed/re-included the app on the watch, and restarted both devices.
One thing that I’ve noticed is that on the second screen of the watch the sitemap value is “unknown” and on the watch’s third screen it simply says “nothing found” even though the “watch” sitemap is displayed and states are updated..
@digitaldan (or other developers/maintainers willing to help), please don’t spend any time on this on my behalf during the holidays. We’re in full holiday mode here and I probably won’t have time to devote to this until next week. Being able to update items from the watch is not a priority to me and can wait. Enjoy your holidays.
After the new install, I also got the same issue with inactive switch (but less) when using the watch app. I updated with the latest testflight version: 3.1.41 (98). This new version works much better. Thanks for this new version.
