Hi all,
My boiler broke, cannot be repaired and is being replaced!
I use Openhab to control the heating and hot water using switches and rules to replace the thermostats (since OH v1 !). However the plumber is talking about replacing the very old programmer with Hive, and I’m thinking it might not be a bad idea to have something like that as a fall back and for when I sell the house!
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for make/model of a central heating programmer that I can control through OH? Can I do that with Hive, I can’t see a binding, it’s zigbee but not listed in zigbee2mqtt? Searching doesn’t really help too much as those claiming to be smart might be proprietary rather than open.
I have currently have a mix zigbee and wifi devices.
Any suggestions or thoughts would be apreciated.
Thanks
