regarding the documentation one should use ‘smart-plug-compact’ for the item definition.
I tried:
Thing smart-plug-compact Espresso “Espresso” [ id=“hdm:HomeMaticIP:123456789012345678901234” ]
The item worked with:
Thing in-wall-switch Nachttisch_1P03 “Nachttisch Dormitorio” [ id=“hdm:HomeMaticIP: 123456789012345678901234” ]
but this will lead to “Inbox” messages within openhab regarding the auto detection of the things:
I will ignore them, but in order to achieve more comprehensible behaviour of the binding, this should possibly be corrected and the thing should also be able to be defined according to the documentation.
Or did I miss something?
