I’m going to be installing a water softener soon. I saw there is at least one in the market that is “smart,” but the ratings are poor. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations they’d suggest? I’m based in the United States.

Smart? Is it better than ordinary water softeners? From my personal point of view, it may not be good enough. Therefore, it is recommended that you use the products of well-known water softener system companies such as fleck.
In Europe I would recommend GRUENBECK but it looks like it is not available in us.
