Smarthome: Command not found? HomeKit

Hello Fellow Forum lookers…

Currently in the process of linking HomeKit with my raspberry pi3 running OpenHabian which is in turn connected using MQTT to 6 Node MCU’s (ESP8266 Chipset) which is controlling some RGB lights…
I’m very new to all of this so I’m a bit confused to say the least…

Im working through everything at the moment but a bit standout issue is that I cannot get HomeKit to discover my Pi3, I’ve created the cfg file (If thats even nessacery? not really documented ANYWHERE)… I’ve tried everything incl port number etc…

Another thing is that any smarthome:’’-'commands are not found??? it just says:

-bash: smarthome: command not found

any suggestions why I don’t seem to have this set of commands???

lots more questions to come…

Cheers, Morgan.

Your first step will be to create the homekit.cfg in your conf/services folder.

You need to login into karaf console:

So it looks you haven’t discovered the official docs yet :grinning:
