Getting ready to build a openhab box. I would like to use z-wave and maybe zigbee. Would I be better off just connecting ST to Openhab instead of buying a z-stick? Thx.
Do you use zwave locks? If so you might want to connect OH to ST.
The Zigbee binding is in work so it might have less comprehensive support for Zigbee than ST does.
However, most of us, including some ST migrants, use just OH with a USB controller.
Finally, I’ll note that you can start with integrating with ST and then migrate to a USB controller later if desired.
