What is the meaning of power point? A wall socket?

I doubt that it’s allowed to integrate a dimmer to a wall socket, as you could not ensure that no one tries to connect a device which isn’t built to work with a dimmer.

Can you replace the bulb with a smart bulb? That would probably be a better approach.
