I just installed 2 Ecobee thermostats. Your binding was a snap to set up in OH2. It’s working very nicely. Thanks for the great work on that binding.
I was wondering if there’s any downside to being a bit more aggressive on the granularity and quickpoll properties. Currently, as you point out in the documentation, a quickpoll will occur between 6 and 11 seconds of a successful command. I’m thinking of lowering the granularity and quickpoll a bit in order to force the UI to update more quickly after making a change. Something like granularity=2000
and quickpoll=3000
. Before making the change, I thought I’d check to see if there’s any practical downside to doing that.
