[SOLVED] HABPanel sluggish

I tried it on 3.0.2-1 and it only shows the “disconnected” red box. I did uninstalled the stock version and did a restart.

does the /rest/items-filtered and /rest/events-filtered work?

for some reason, build process included node_modules into the result. will check.

How do I check if the /rest/items-filtered and /rest/events-filtered work?

So great that you desiced to compile this for OH3!
But I got this on my OH 3.0.2 debian based system.

yes, found out yesterday, that there was a dependency change (again) in 3.1.0.M3 and all bindings compiled for that will not work for 3.0.x . Suggest you upgrade to 3.1.0 once that is available, that would be easier than me trying to rebuild the binding for 3.0.x. Sorry

Hi @arctus ,

I’m migrating over to OH 3.1 and I use habpanelfilter ALOT because my I have over 1500+ items defined.

Will this download work with OH 3.1 or is there someone else I should go to get it?

I tried creating the bridge twice even with a recycle of OH but I still get this state.

Best, Jay

hi, there are no things in the binding, it works out of the box (you do not need to create anything).

it works ok for me on 3.2.x.

Does anybody have an updated jar for openhab 4.0?

Updated jar for what ? HABpanel ?
Latest version comes with openHAB 4.0

Yes the modified habpanel and habpanel filter

habpanel filter worked fine with 3.X versions. For 4.0 - will recompile once the platform becomes stable (4.1 :)). rule of thumb, never install updated major version until the minor is updated as well …

Hey @arctus,

I’m interested in the Habpanelfilter for 4.x when you get around to re-compiling it. I’ve been using it for years now and works great!

Best, Jay

Hi,
Started with migration and faced straight away a problem that jython is no longer supported by openhab (helper libraries, but IMHO it means it is no longer supported). So migration stopped. Now I am solving a dilemma of whether to migrate to HABApp or migrate to Home Assistant. As I have a lot of rules, both seem to be equivalent. At this point, Home Assistant option looks more welcome as they have a larger plugin support. Will decide after the holidays and let you know.
Best, Pavel

If you have the possibility of building an additional OH system you could build a new OH4.1 system and use the remoteopenhab binding to connect the new system to the old system. I’ve used this method before to link items in a new system to items in an old system and then migrate one rule at a time to the new system.

Hey @arctus

This habpanel solution stopped working on OH 4.3 Stable after upgrading to it.

Hi,

Sorry for getting back to you so late. Somehow the message slipped through …
I have successfully migrated to home assistant (after jython stopped working on openhab). Thus I am not planning to do any changes for openhab. There are projects I am involved in and unfortunately dont have the time to take care of this right now.

Sorry for bringing not so great news.
