[SOLVED] NodOn Contact not working

Dear community,
thanks for all your great help and articles. I´m trying to get my openhab running and was more or less successful only because of this great community. Unfortunately I could not find a solution to my current problem.
I´m using the NodOn Contact SDO-2-1-05 with EEPD5-00-01. But in openhab I cant get any status information in the Items. Neither “manual” coded nor via Paper UI generated.
But the temperature sensors (NodOnSTP-2-1-05 on EEP A5-02-05) are working well.

In the log I can see:
2019-12-23 10:46:43.729 [DEBUG] [ernal.transceiver.EnOceanTransceiver] - RADIO_ERP1 with RORG _1BS for 01923E7B payload D50901923E7B0001FFFFFFFF3D00 received
2019-12-23 10:46:43.746 [DEBUG] [rnal.handler.EnOceanBaseThingHandler] - ESP Packet payload D50901923E7B00 for 01923E7B received
2019-12-23 10:46:44.077 [DEBUG] [ernal.transceiver.EnOceanTransceiver] - RADIO_ERP1 with RORG _1BS for 01923E7B payload D50801923E7B0001FFFFFFFF3D00 received
2019-12-23 10:46:44.092 [DEBUG] [rnal.handler.EnOceanBaseThingHandler] - ESP Packet payload D50801923E7B00 for 01923E7B received

But the item is empty.

I´m using openhab 2.4.0-1 (Release build) and the enocean binding.

Could you give me please a further hint? I have no idea where to search…

Thanks a lot,
Haegges

I would advise you to update to 2.5, released last week, to start with

First take @vzorglub advise and upgrade to 2.5.

If you choose to remain on 2.4, or just future reference you can search github for issues about binding. Here is a link for open issues regarding enocean binding:

Hope this helps.

Hey both,
sorry, I checked for the new release just the week before, there it wasn´t out yet. And when I wrote the post, meanwhile it was released…
I updated to 2.5 (what took me really a lot of effort… not as "plug&play as I hoped ;-)) but luckily the 2.5 and the contact seems working now.
Thanks a lot and sorry again for being not thorough enough.

Good news and glad to hear.
