[SOLVED] Problem connecting Nest E thermostat to 2.4 Binding

Hi All,

Firstly it is worth noting I’ve installed four 3rd Gen Nest thermostats and I’ve successfully connected them all to openHAB so I’m familiar with the process.

That said I have recently purchased and installed a Nest E thermostat and I’m really struggling.

I can connect the Nest Account in the Paper UI and in doing so the Structure discovers OK however the thermostat does not appear.

Has anyone else successfully connected this thermostat?

Oh dear, tried using the HTTP binding and the Nest V1 Binding without success. I then did more research and answered my own question. The Nest E thermostat is not supported in the Nest API in the EU. :sob:
