[SOLVED] Problems adding KFOB-C Remote Control to openhab2

Hi,

I cannot get to KFOB-C Remote Control properly recognised.

  1. After repeatedly deleting from inbox factory resetting etc. I have a number of nodes. But I don#t believe that this is a real issue.

  2. The KFOB but it is an unknown device type. I have used the remote keypad to put it in “Management” mode and pressed button 2 to wake it up repeatedly with no joy…

Could someone please provide some pointers…

Regards

Paul

OK I have this working now. I have no idea what I did differently.

Give it a rest for a day then try again…

Same Issue here - mutliple attempts, multiple resets. Still

pops up as an unknown devices. Does anybody have a clue what is the
right way to do? BTW: Have the Z-Wave Biding from Chris with the
Secure Layer (for the Danalock) installed.

To be honest I dont remember how to reset the keyfob. But the
manual is online somewhere.

I seem to remember removing the device from Hab.And then resetting the
keyfob. (sevveral times…)

Once the keyfob is seen by Hab you need to wake the keyfob up quite a
few times before it is recognised as the keyfob. Be patient! Wake it
up - leave it for awile e.g. 15mins wake it up etc. The wake up
sequence for keyfob is also in the manual -pay attention to what the
manual says about the flashing lights - for reset and for wake up!

Hey Paul, OK, thanks, will do. Can you con confirm the

procedure: All buttons 1 seconds, then button 3 then button 4 5
seconds for factory reset. Then pairing with button 1 one second?
