High, I’m trying to flash a sonoff switch with tasmota uisng Visual Studio Code with the PlatfromIO extension.
I started the UPLOAD, however I get the following messages at the end:
Could not find active agents. Please start it before on a remote machine using "pio remote agent start" command.
What is this missing “active agent”?
My switch is a sonoff Double R2, which I did put into flash mode by connecting Ground and Button 0(GPIO0).

Solved by using the compiled .bin from VS-Code and flashed that one with ESPEasy.
