I would like to inform you briefly that there are currently great deals for a Smart Light System called “tint” at Aldi (a german discounter). Tint (from Müller Licht) is compatible with Philips Hue, Osram Lightify and probably also with Ikea Tradfri (and maybe other ZigBee 3.0 ZLL gateways). I have already successfully connected a light bulb (404005) and a remote control (404011) to Hue Bridge.
You should hurry, because from 2 of my 4 Aldi shops nearby they have taken the lamps out of the sale.
EDIT: If you already bought tint products (>50 € or >100 €), there also is a FREE gift campaign (started on 15 February 2019 and ends on 15 April 2019) on the Müller Licht homepage: here and here.
has anybody managed to get those TINT bulbs working directly connected to OH2 via the Zigbee binding? The bulb is recognised as a thing and appears online but all control functions are not working. i tried to DIMM, ON/OFF and Switch as an item but nothing works.
Hi Arno,
after switching ON/OFF for about 20 times the thing is apears in my PaperUI as zigbee-device, but the only available channels are Color and Color Temperatur. Did you define the dimmer and ON-OFF-items manually?
oh, thanks for the hint.
By defining a switch-item using the color-Channel I can switch the bulb ON or OFF now.
But using Dimmer or Color I get a terrible java-.Exception when changing the value:
2020-05-09 09:30:13.883 [ERROR] [ersey.server.ServerRuntime$Responder] - An I/O error has occurred while writing a response message entity to the container output stream.
org.glassfish.jersey.server.internal.process.MappableException: org.eclipse.jetty.io.EofException

at org.glassfish.jersey.message.internal.WriterInterceptorExecutor.proceed(WriterInterceptorExecutor.java:162) ~[bundleFile:?]
And the color and brightness are changing very strange.
I createt the thing as Zigbee-Thing, using the auto-discovery in PaperUI. The Color-item is defined manually in a .items file:
Color Mueller1Level "Terasse" {channel="zigbee:device:bb70bcda:00158d000387ca69:00158D000387CA69_1_color"}
