I am running OH 2.5.12 Release Build in a docker container on my Synology NAS. It has been running ok for weeks. I have today rebooted my container during the day as is shut it down to test an OH 3.1 container. After starting up the OH 2.5.12 container again I receive the following error:
Both containers have their own separated configuration directories.
I also tested with
wget that the container running OH 25.12 has internet connection. I also have a container with an older version OH 2.5.10 which gets the same error. It has also its own configuration directory and it also gets the error. Hence it is not limited to the 2.5.12 instance …
I found in the forum, that this error can occur when the container is not able to connect to the internet. But as shown above I have tested that.
My whole OpenHAB environment is currently frozen as I do not know why this error occurs.
Please help me to find out what is going wrong!!!
I have tested with a new docker container where I removed everything from the addons.cfg except these two entries:
package = standard remote = true
And when I do a restart of the docker container after cleaning
I receive the error:
20:02:39.410 [ERROR] [.core.karaf.internal.FeatureInstaller] - Failed installing 'openhab-ui-homebuilder, openhab-ui-basic, openhab-ui-habpanel, openhab-ui-paper': Error: Error downloading mvn:commons-collections/commons-collections/3.2.2
But I can download the openhab.org website using wget:

This means that the container has connection to the internet …
