Have a bunch of Somfy blinds in OH 4.3.6 and have the Metadata of “Blind” set for Alexa Device Type. They’ve been working great since I initially set them up (2yrs+) but in the last few days they appear in the Alexa app really strangely (see attached, with Arabic-like text?). In addition, the Up, Down and Stop buttons have disappeared for the blinds. They still “work” via voice commands but not in the Alexa app itself. Anyone got any thoughts? Tried removing from the Alexa app and re-adding but they come back in the same as before
Something changed, also my sensors do not work. What I did, was to expose them using Metadata as Matter devices, the only thing that worked for me 
Was the Matter metadata shown as a selectable option in your Item config? Don’t have that option in my setup
You need to also install the Matter binding, and be sure to have ipv6 enabled
So, it looks like it’s a version 5.0 binding that’s listed, yet I’m running 4.3.6. Trying to install that binding just spins (guessing it’s not compatible). Why would add ons for 5.0 be shown for a 4.3.6 install. Some bug perhaps?
