I came across this rather nice “Speak and Respond” community script:

Does anyone know whether this can be done with Google Nest / Google Home (Mini / Hub, etc)?

Is there a way to receive the actual voice command from google home mini/hub translated to text into openhab?

Responding can be done easily using Voice.say output to the specific device
