Hello friends,
Just wanted to raise a feature request for the iOS/iPadOS OpenHAB app.
Currently the app only works in full screen mode. It would be very helpful if the app could support split screen view on iPad, so we can multitask OpenHAB next to other apps.

How about opening the UI in Safari? Then split screen available 
Why release an app when you can do everything with the browser? 
In my opinion the openhab app should support all iPad OS screen modes.

I agree with @dirkdirk.
The safari solution is not ideal.
Besides that, the iOS app is already available, and, although I’m hardly an app developer, as I understand, adding split view support should not be too difficult.
I understand where you are coming from, I just wanted to point you to a solution that would work 
Personally, since the new Main-UI doesn’t work at all with the app, I’m not using the app any longer…
