Strange Behavior stepped line (OH 5)

Hi,

I want to plot my valve-position and the desired temperature as stepped graph.

I use this yaml:

  config:
    gridIndex: 0
    item: AZAHzg_Desired_temperature
    name: "Soll (step: forwards)"
    service: jdbc
    type: line
    step: forwards
    xAxisIndex: 0
    yAxisIndex: 0

I can see the steps, but the plot the value in to the past not into the future.
See attached image.

The green line is the same without steps. The desired temperature is set at 8:00 to 20°C (green line) but the stepped blue line takes this into the past and using this value from 7:41. Thanks

I don’t think there is enough information here to understand what you are asking.

Given the screenshot, there are at least four values plotted after 7:41.

If the values plotted are not what you expect, the first thing to do is check the database. The carts are pretty dumb. They just plot the values that are returned. So what you see is likely what’s in the DB. So if it’s wrong, the DB is wrong.

forwards is not a valid value for the step property. If I understand you correctly, you want step: end.
