TestFlight Version lost my settings

I opened the openHAB app this morning and saw there was an update. When I acknowledge the message I saw the Demo page. Turns out all my settings were lost. I had to completely reconfigure the app. openHAB testflight version 3.1.31(87) on iOS 18.6.2

Apologies, my bad!

When implementing making the search field optional I didn’t realise that adding a new settings parameter messes with the settings UUID, causing the resetting of already existing settings to defaults. I’m in the middle of implementing settings migration, so that this doesn’t happen when the iOS app gets an official release.

I have the problem, that the Default Path setting is not getting saved, is there any known problem with it? I am using testflight version 3.1.31 (87).

This looks completely unrelated to me after a quick test with 3.1.27, before I submitted the search field setting. How does it behave when you use any version before and including3.1.30 or possibly the latest 3.1.32?

If it still isn’t saved it’s best to log an issue bout it at

Oh, then I am sorry, I thought because you were talking about settings uuids. I now tried the 3.1.32, and there the problem persists. Prior I was using the normal AppStore version, and there this problem wasn’t present, now that I switched to the Testflight version, the problem appeared. Then I will open an issue tomorrow, maybe there is some bug in the new versions.
