I have several things that intermittently show that they are online and then “unknown”. I am not very technically aware. It seems to me that openhab is polling the item and it is either taking too long for a response or something is slowing down my computer so it is getting an accurate response but the browser needs to be refreshed or something to show that the items that display are not unknown but actually online. I do realize that I have a few things that are not connected and should show Unknown or offline.
This is a known bug.
so just ignore it and someone will troubleshoot it some day? I wish I knew enough to work on it.
