Touchscreen (e.g. for Intel NUC running Ubuntu)

Id’ like to connect a touchscreen to my Intel NUC running OH. The touchscreen will then be used for displaying HABpanel dashboards.

I’m looking for a 12 - 14 inch touchscreen with at least HD resolution (1920*1080) but it’s really difficult to find any branded screens. So I stumbled upon Alibaba:

Has anybody made some good experiences with this specific touchscreen or any other screen?

In my opinion OH can be used for professional home automation but lacks professional control possibilities. Of course this is not only OH related…

Thank you very much.

After a long search I found an appropriate touch display:

Lilliput TK1330-NP/C/T (13.3" Full HD HDMI Monitor With Capacitive Touch Function)

  • 13.3" Industrial Monitor
  • 1920×1080 high resolution, Aspect ratio: 16:9
  • Touch panel: 10-point capacitive touch,
  • High contrast: 1500:1, High brightness: 300cd/m²,
  • Viewing angle: 170° / 170° (H/V),
  • HDMI, VGA, DVI & A/V inputs,
  • Metal housing design,
  • Integrated bracket for easy installation,
  • VESA & fixed bracket mount methods

It works out of the box with Ubuntu without any installation needed.

I already used it for two private projects:
