Try placing the device physical closer to your wifi acces point and see if that makes a difference.If that fixes it, it could mean something is interfering with your hs103.
Once added the following was displayed within openHAB.
Status: UNKNOWN
And then it changes to the following.
Status: OFFLINE
**COMMUNICATION_ERROR**
No route to host (Host unreachable)
Please note that the Kasa iOS app can control the HS103 (LOCAL ONLY)
I then changed the power strip it was plugged into and it “SEEMED” to start working again BUT each time I turned on or off the HS103 I would cause a COMMUNICATION_ERROR which lasted for a few seconds.
