Trouble installing on windows 10 desktop

I’m new to all this and trying to install but having issues. Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong or need to do?

Going just on the limited information above, it sounds like you installed the HOT SPOT version of Java. Uninstall it and download and install the JDK version.

If you are running on a X64 machine grab the Windows X64 version.

I am trying to follow the install according to the directions on openhab site. where do I find the value to enter for Java home variable?

The value is the file path to the JDK
