Unable to Connect to OpenHAB Server

Hello

I’m facing an issue with connecting to my OpenHAB server, and I’m asking help in troubleshooting. When attempting to access my OpenHAB server, I’m receiving an error message stating “Unable to connect to server” or a similar message. This issue present across multiple devices and browsers.

I’ve tried restarting both the OpenHAB server and the client devices, ensuring that the server is running and accessible on the network. I’ve checked firewall settings and confirmed that port forwarding is correctly configured on my router. Setup, Configuration and Use - openHAB Community info

I’m still unable to establish a connection to the OpenHAB server. Any help or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.

  • server log does not show any error ?
  • ports on OH server are open and listening on ethernet address and not only on localhost interface ?
  • from where do you try to connect ( LAN, WAN ) ?
  • from where do you experience to have the problems ( LAN, WAN ) ?
  • what type of installation is it ( openhabian, docker, windows, linux, synology, … ) ?
  • ping from your client towards the server is working ?
