When I am lucky then I can access the widgets and install one, but if I try to install a 2nd one right after then the list is gone again. Accessing the widgets page with a browser is never a problem.
Running openHAB 5.2.0.M5 but I encountered this issue also in previous builds.
429 means “too many requests” so for some reason the forum software thinks too many requests are comming from your IP. Are you perhaps behind a CGNAT? There might be many openHAB users comming from the same IP.
There was a time a few months ago where this was a persistent problem for many users but changes were made and we haven’t heard of many users with this same problem recently.
I am indeed behind a CG-NAT (Deutsche Glasfaser) and I read the post about this issue that should be fixed in one of the earlier milestone builds. I recently moved from Windows to linux with openHab and also wanted to switch to main UI instead of Sitemaps. The default widgets are a bit limited, so I wanted to try the community widgets, but like I said, it seldomly works for me. I know I can copy the code, but this is not very convenient.
