I’ve created an OpenWeatherMap account and I have a default api key.
Everything works fine in OH but if I want more than 24 hours for the forecast and thus edit the openweathermap:weather-and-forecast:xxxx:xxxx thing “number of days” field which is @ 0 to more than that, the thing switch to “unknown” status.
The only log I see is in events: Thing changed from ONLINE to UNKNOWN
Are you limited to 24H with a free api key ?

Depends on the data you want to see. Read yourself Weather API - OpenWeatherMap
You can also get yourself a paid account and limit use to 1k calls/day, these are free.
I’m using the default key provided and I think it entitles this:
You can search weather forecast for 5 days with data every 3 hours by geographic coordinates. All weather data can be obtained in JSON and XML formats.
I suspect I’ve done more than 1 call every 3 hours and that’s I can’t change the day parameter of my thing.
Given the information that you can request 5 days forecast every 3 hours I’ve changed my account thing by changing the update interval field to 480 minutes (8 hours). And then my “openweathermap:weather-and-forecast:xxxx:yyyy” thing “number of days” field to 5.
The thing still displays '“unknown” after that even if I’ve waited several hours for it to maybe update.
Any ideas ?
