Update to DSM 7.3 causing issues with Openhab 5.0.1

Hello,
I don’t know why, but yesterday I’ve decided to upgrade my synology to DSM7.3 and since that I’m facing the following errors and When I connect to the Karaf console , some more error occurs on simple command like LOG:Display or Log:tail ….
Before that bad idea, I was running fine with the same version of 5.0.1 , same config … but on DSM7.2.
It might be worth to mention also that I’m running Openhab 5.0.1 using the docker image

Could you provide me some guidance to solve the first 2 issues? here is the 2 stack trace

As I understand it, DSM 7 dramatically changes how software can be installed and used, eliminates the ability to use USB devices by default, and more.

I think the only thing to do is to follow the installation instructions and restore the backup of your config (you took a backup before upgrading right?) once that’s working. If you don’t have a backup, you might be able to copy over your conf and userdata folders to their new locations to restore.

on my config, I’ve got this defined user/group:
uid=1036(openhab) gid=100(users) groups=100(users),65537(openhab)

I’ve done a backup one month ago, I’ll try a new fresh installation. Thank you for you advice

DSM7 doesn’t generally support USB devices, but I was able to get my USB devices (Aeotec-5 and Conbee II) working for DSM7.2 using the following instructions: Synology: How to Add USB Support on DSM 7

I haven’t tested whether it works for the new DSM7.3 yet. :wink:

Thanks for your comment, but I do not have any USB device on my synology. I don’t think it’s related to the issues I’m facing.
As suggest, I’m starting a fresh new installation and I’ll let you know

Docker containers run well on Synology, I’ve been running openHAB (and several other containers) on Synology since 2018. Synology does try to banish USB dongles but there is an easy work around.

I’ve followed the step from @rlkoshak and I’ve recovered my complete installation :ok_hand:
Just remaining a issue with SSH keys to connect to the Karaf console but except that, everything is working

And to complete, I’ve also solved my issue with the Logs thanks to Openhab logging not working after clearing cache and tmp - #4 by linqus

Simply copied the org.ops4j.pax.logging.cfg from one of my backup file to the userdata/etc folder
