Upgrade from CC2531 to CC26X2R1

Does anyone have experience with upgrading from CC2531 to CC26X2R1 and do you have any good advice.

I upgraded one month ago.
The upgrade was really smooth and easy, only some config changes were needed.
The only problem i had, was a known bug with Intel CPUs (you have to press reset button on first connect)

What’s the advantage? I’ve got 3 cc2531. One coordinator and two routers. Find they all have quite a short range.

Wondering about if I should get something better for a coordinator with an external aerial.

In short: more powerful, able to handle around three times the number of devices compared to the CC2531.

There can be many reasons for this. What fixed it for me was putting the CC2531 on a USB extender, away from the Pi that it was previously plugged into. Much better range now!

I’m using zigbee2mqtt and all i needed i found there: https://www.zigbee2mqtt.io/information/supported_adapters.html

There are also good, cheaper alternativ adapters.
But i don’t know if any of these is working with openhab zigbee binding
