Upgrade from snapshot to stable

I am currently running openhab2 on snapshots. My installed version is openhab2-2.4.0.20180813124523-1.noarch

I am running on Centos7.

I want to upgrade to the release version of 2.4. I added the stable repo to yum, but it doesn’t see the release version as new since the new version is: openhab2-2.4.0-1.noarch.rpm which is considered older than what I am running.

Is there a way to force the upgrade, or do I need to take a backup, remove the openhab packages I have installed and then install the new version and restore the backup?

Just took a look through the zip file the backup creates and see a lot of references to SNAPSHOT file paths.

This makes me think doing a restore would not be a good idea.
