Very strange behavior of the semantic model tree (collapse on edit)

When I add, delete and change elements or can simply add/delete/change element metadata, the tree can (very often) collapse. Previously (maybe a year ago), it was always stable. Now it has become extremely inconvenient to work with it.

Of course, there is a button that expands the entire model, but this is also inconvenient, since I have a rather deep and rich model and I have to open (search) for elements in a multi-level model for a very long time. In addition, this does not save from the fact that the model tree can close under certain circumstances.

Example (other items added by .items files)

I want to add a new location
1.The model has only the root expanded, I add to the root.
2. I click add

  1. The model has already collapsed!!!
  2. I fill in the data and click create

And the model collapsed!

  1. I open the model again and find my created location.
  2. I click add metadata and select the list widget

I don’t change anything, I just save.

And again the model collapsed!

I am sure that this behavior is incorrect, because for several years the semantic model tree behaved adequately (for example, like Windows Explorer) and in rare cases collapsed itself. Now it is impossible to use! What to do with this?

This issue has been known for a while now, and there’s a big update to the model editing page (with luck coming soon) which should fix this:

I am very happy about this.
We are waiting with impatience.
I hope everything will work the first time and we will be able to enjoy editing the model.
